ZON TV Cabo On XPowerCMD CCCam Server

ZON TV (formerly TV Cabo and ZON TV Cabo) is one of the major TV platforms by
Portuguese subscription. ZON TV, which is a division of ZON Multimedia, operates in the sector of the cable TV and satellite. It also proposes interactive television services, as well as Triple Play packages.


History 
ZON TV, began broadcasting 19 May 1994 under the name of TV Cabo. She belonged to the group
Portugal Telecom. In 1996, Portugal Telecom is restructured and created the holding company PT Multimedia, which groups all internet and multimedia activities, including TV Cabo. In 2007, PT Multimedia is an independent company and competitor of Portugal Telecom, and in 2008, to mark the separation of the two entities, PT shareholders Multimedia are acting a name change. PT Multimedia ZON Multimedia becomes, and becomes ZON TV Cabo TV Cabo. On 17 January 2008, ZON TV Cabo announced the purchase, together with the bank Caixa Geral de Depósitos, the competitor
TVTEL. On 24 July 2008, ZON TV Cabo has purchased Bragatel cable television companies and Pluricanal (For the latter, network Leiria and Santarem, as was the case for Pluricanal Aveiro by Cabovisão and Pluricanal Gondomar by TVTEL in the 90s), the entrepreneur Joe Berardo.
In early 2010, ZON Multimedia ZON TV service TV Cabo took its current name of ZON TV.
The company then had a near-monopoly on the market for pay television. However,
it faces competition from IPTV operators like Optimus Clix or Vodafone, but especially supply Meo
Portugal Telecom is the only company that, in addition to competition in the sector of triple play,
is the only competitor in Portuguese satellite TV.
